Neighbors – The Daily Progress

Students in the Renaissance School’s Synthetic Biology class are participating with University of Virginia’s International Genetically Engineered Machine team in an international competition that promotes ideas in synthetic biology. Students Alii Ambrosini, Emily Anness, Anders Beaurline, Konstantina Damvakaris, Lauren Ewell, Nich Keen, Alex Manchester and Jessica Prax presented their ideas for solving real-world problems using genetic changes.

Anders and Alex were a part of Peabody’s graduating class of 2011 and Nick was in Peabody’s 2012 graduating class. We are very proud of these young men and their continued academic excellence. Keep up the good work!
