Peabody students recently presented to the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors to support reducing carbon emissions in our community. Students and local business leaders are lobbying for elected officials to set bold goals for reducing carbon emissions over the next 10 years – a goal of 45 percent reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, which matches the recommendation of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Our students did a great job representing Peabody and advocating on behalf of their community!
