I am in the midst of planning the curriculum for my french classes at PVCC’s Kids College this summer. We’ll “tour” the Louvre & the Musée D’Orsay, inspiring the art we make. We’ll taste our way through delicacies. At the end of the week, students will present a skit showing off their fine art and knowledge of French cuisine. We’ll also celebrate Bastille day, bien sûr. Kids will learn basic greetings, how to introduce themselves and more.

This class is geared to kids who are absolute beginners and who have taken “French for Oui Ones” with me in the past. This is class is also well suited to my homeschool crew (a bit of review for them but also lots of new activities).

rising 6th-9th graders: M-F 7/6-7/10, 8:45-noon, $135

rising 3rd-6th graders: M-F 7/13-7/17, 8:45-noon, $135

There are a few spots left if you’d like your oui (or not so oui as the case may be) one to join us. There are afternoon programs as well if you need full day coverage: everything from jewelry making to Minecraft.
