Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville Albemarle presents Wordplay, Charlottesville’s own live game show.

Wordplay is a team-based competition for people who love words, vocabulary, pop culture, history, literature, and showing off how smart they are. It’s played in rounds, challenging a different part of your brain in every round. If you enjoy word games and trivia, Wordplay is for you!

Individual tickets are available for purchase for $20 online, at the door, or by calling the Literacy Volunteers office: 434-977-3838.

Wordplay is the annual fundraiser for Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/ Albemarle. LVCA is an independent, non-profit organization that offers free, confidential, individualized basic literacy and ESL instruction to approximately 350 adults each year.
