We are proud to celebrate with our own Yanni Raymond (7th grade) and Knox Daniel (5th grade), who competed in the North American School Scrabble Championship this past weekend, earning a stellar 3rd place out of 58 teams competing! Knox and Yanni won 6 out of 7 games and amassed a total positive point spread of 412 points. Some of their highlight plays included HERBIEST, AEROLITE, and GRANULES. In the game that sealed their 3rd place status (and generous cash prize) they played TUITIONS, thereby fittingly earning a nice deposit for their college funds!

The students and teachers at Peabody are excited for Knox and Yanni and we wish them all the best as they continue to hone their craft!
