krehmeyerCongratulations to Peabody 5th grader, Anne Krehmeyer, who placed 3rd in the 4th/5th grade division of the “Frosting on my Fingertips” short story competition last month. Anne’s story was one of over 150 submissions from 20 schools in our area. Anne’s story is entitled “Adoption”. It is the story of a young girl who loses both her parents and is adopted by her foster mother. Student authors had to work within a word limit and use the phrase “frosting on my fingertips” somewhere in their story. Congratulations, Anne! You represented Peabody very well and we are proud of you. Keep up the writing this summer.
