BUILD
Let’s Build Together.
We have the opportunity to build a new, state-of-the-art academic building that will be an environmentally friendly asset to our Peabody community.
With your help, this $3.4 million project will provide the same necessary emphasis to our learning environments that we place on education itself.
The new facility will provide:

STEM MAKER LAB
A new STEM Maker Lab will offer students a unique opportunity for hands-on experiential learning, outfitted with technologies including 3D printing, laser cutting, sewing machines, and arduino boards. Students will integrate cross-discipline knowledge developing skills in programming, math, science, and art to design and engineer their own creations.

PERFORMING ARTS SPACE
The performing arts program nurtures creativity and collaboration, promotes learning through body and mind, and provides the foundations for life-long music enjoyment and education. The new building will house dedicated space for our music curriculum with proper acoustics, recording technology, and soundproof practice rooms.

OUTDOOR ENGAGEMENT
The new building will support students’ relationship with the environment. The building design is LEED-compliant, and includes opportunities for solar and storm-water recycling, pollinator and vegetable gardens, a new PreKindergarten playground, and an engaging outdoor activity trail. Also, a new outdoor multi-use court and amphitheatre seating will serve as the students’ main play area and connect with existing green space.
Sustaining Our Future
The school’s footprint will increase by 3,000 square feet, which will accommodate a gradual enrollment increase from 210 to 225 students. As a result, Peabody will eventually offer two classes for each grade level from 2nd-8th, which will ensure a full and consistent experience for all students and faculty.
I never teach my pupils. I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.
