The annual competition, Girls Excelling in Math (GEM), was held at Village School on February 28th.  This local competition for grades 4 – 8 was attended by a team of ten Peabody students in grades 4 – 7.  The Peabody School team won first prize in the lower school division!  Peabody 5th-8th grade math teachers, Carrie Girstantas and Marie Beaurline, sponsored the Peabody team.
