Knox, a sixth grader, won the Peabody competition of the National Geographic Bee on January 14. Thousands of schools around the U.S. and five territories
are participating in the 2016 Bee. The school champions, including Knox, will take a qualifying test, and up to 100 of the top scorers on that test in each state
will then be eligible to compete in their state Bee on April 1, 2016. State winners will participate in the national championship May 22-25 in Washington, D.C. It will be shown on television on the National Geographic Channel and PBS. Congratulations, Knox!
