Middle School equips our students with the tools and skills required for success in high school and beyond. Our students graduate with the confidence and leadership skills that will successfully launch them through the next stage in education, whether that be local public or private high schools or prep schools throughout the country.
They engage in a full academic program and along with their core subjects they take physical education, world language, technology, music, and art. They also participate in multiple community-based service learning events and a weekly one-hour elective in which they can choose from a variety of opportunities such as cooking, robotics, drama, and photography.
In Middle School, children are assigned an advisor that helps to guide them socially, emotionally, and academically. They also have the opportunity to be on school athletic teams, which include soccer, basketball and track and field.
Roughly 92% of our students enter the public school system following graduation from Peabody. The curriculum has been aligned to a limited degree with the expectations of the local high schools for prerequisite knowledge and skills of incoming freshmen. The goal of the Middle School program is to prepare students with the content and skills necessary for a smooth and seamless transition to high school.
